Xbox 360 Coming Soon

MS beat Sony and Nintendo to the punch with its announcement of the next gen Xbox. The Xbox is not scheduled to hit store shelves until this fall but the buzz is in full swing.

What's hot? The new Xbox will have a high-definition picture display when used with HDTVs. In addition, the sleek, redesigned white console will be able to connect to the Xbox Live marketplace using a built-in Ethernet port and broadband Internet access. At the marketplace, gamers will be able to download content such as new game trailers, new game levels, weapons and vehicles for games and more.

The console will come with a 20GB detachable and upgradeable hard drive and a 12x dual-layer DVD drive that reads DVD, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, CD-R/RW, WMA and MP3.

Representatives said that by the end of this year, there will be 25 to 40 titles supporting the Xbox 360.

How much would you pay for this new console? Microsoft has not set pricing but make sure it's either at the top or the only item on your holiday wish list.
